Default Girl With Something Extra

I don't know what the chances are of this series being released on DVD, probably not very good since The Flying Nun hasn't been finished on DVD. Get TV has aired all 22 episodes of Girl With Something Extra, I recorded them on my DVR and am now in the process of transferring the episodes to DVD.

Sally Field and John Davidson were a good pair in this show, too bad it lasted only the one season but I'm glad Get TV has brought this series out of the mothballs and aired the episodes.

I'm now waiting to see if Get TV will start airing Peter Loves Mary again, I was recording those too but I'm missing a few episodes, I have 27 of the 32 episodes recorded.

Made it through about 3 episodes. Normally like these kinds of shows, but something just didn't work for me with this one.

I agree it's a cute show, not a hysterical laugh out loud type of show but very much a product of it's time, very 1973 like in style and production. The actor who plays the role of Jerry is funny, he plays his part like a typical 1970's playboy/ladies man.

I like Sally Field in Girl With Something Extra and The Flying Nun, but Gidget not so much. I never liked Gidget but I like The Patty Duke Show.

If Peter Loves Mary returns to Get TV's schedule, it's possible that it would air at a different time, maybe during the overnight hours or maybe weekends instead of early in the morning. I'm just glad I already recorded 27 of the 32 episodes. And that's another thing, during Get TV's prior run of the series, they skipped 4 episodes, airing only 28 of the 32 shows. So if that's all they have, then the episode titled Movie Star is the only one I'm missing. Right now I'm just waiting to see if the show comes back on the schedule again. I think it probably will, let's see what happens over the next few months.

LOL, well I'm about ready to give up on Get TV, two times in a row now they were scheduled to show episode 18 of Girl With Something Extra, then ran episode 15 instead. I've been recording the episodes and #18 is the only one I still need, so it's aggravating it keeps getting skipped over, especially when the schedule shows #18 and then they show something else. Oh well, it's useless to fret about it too much, I'll continue to monitor the schedule and maybe they will eventually show the episode.
