Following the release of the movie in 1988 Beetlejuice made it's cartoon debut a year later and featured Beetlejuice along with his friend Lydia having lots of fun adventures in Beetlejuice's amazing and sometimes silly world. Michael Keaton didn't provide the voice of Beetlejuice in the cartoon and ended in 1991 and was part of ABC's Saturday Morning Lineup before reruns of the Beetlejuice cartoon were seen on Nickelodeon. There was also a collection of Beetlejuice toys that were part of a Beetlejuice Kids Meal that was sold at Burger King Restaurants in 1989. It's amazing how popular Beetlejuice would become in theaters when the movie first debuted in 1988 that a cartoon series would follow based on Beetlejuice and Tim Burton seemed very proud that Beetlejuice would be a hit cartoon based on a hit movie. Another fact about the Beetlejuice cartoon is that the theme song is the exact same Danny Elfman theme song that was used in the intro scene of the movie

There was also an entire action figure line produced by Kenner. Beetlejuice was a phenomenal, smash hit. I remember seeing it in the theater. It was a film that was scary, but silly enough too that it intrigued a lot of children- hence the cartoon production and line of toys.

I first saw the Beetlejuice movie when I was recovering from a surgery and I was surprised that Tim Burton made it into a cartoon and after I saw the movie I discovered that my copy of the Beetlejuice movie had two bonus episodes of the Beetlejuice cartoon and I watched them and I was amazed at how awesome they still were as when I first started watching the Beetlejuice cartoon when I was a kid. I can honestly say Beetlejuice was a wonderful cartoon version of the movie and really cool

hey LaBestia!! i got the first seaon of beetle juice on dvd!! i actually liked the cartoon of beetle juice more then the live aciton movie!! when i was at disney world i went to this play it was like an beetle juice musical!!
