It feels like they are dragging their feet getting season five up and it's driving me crazy!

The wait between seasons three and four didn't feel nearly this long. Every day I check hoping they've posted it, but I'm met with nothing but disappointment. Grrr...I hate waiting.

I would have thought it was FilmRise's issue but season 5 is out in the UK and Canada, so obviously this is an issue with Amazon. The UM and FilmRise people kept saying "any day now" so I bet they are frustrated too.

This is trying my patience, though. They have been coming out religiously at the beginning of the month but not now. And I doubt we'll see anything soon with the holiday weekend in play.

Maybe someone can produce a "Missing" UM segment for season 5...

Season 2, 3 & 4 were all released on the 6th or 7th day of the month like clockwork. Season 5........WHO KNOWS!!!!

At this point, with 2 weeks of vague responses such as "any day now" or "keep checking the website", this is SOOOOOO frustrating!!! (UK has now had Season 5 for 2 weeks!!!!)

To be optimistic on things, I bet Season 6 will be released within the next 2 weeks, maybe we will get Season 5 & 6 at the same time.

At this moment though I wish Amazon would tell us the whole truth, maybe the best thing to do is cancel your subscription to Amazon Video, mine runs out on June 18th, so if another season of UM is not out by then I am walking away.

I watch 95% of my shows on Netflix anyway, Amazon is just for Unsolved Mysteries.

Amazon/FilmRise just wanted you to get the full experience of an "Unsolved Mystery". They wanted us to experience the show firsthand with this clever, and fun surprise.

I was just thinking I'm impatient, which I absolutely am. NCRavensFan, I am the same way. I'm usually on Netflix, but got Amazon too for UM. Now I find myself watching reruns until season 5 shows up.

Freakbook-LOL! So true...it really is starting to feel like its own mystery.

*Sigh* I'm hoping for the best...maybe by next weekend?

I agree, this weekend being Memorial Day weekend makes it unlikely.

Yeah this is getting ridiculous. I just sent the following email, probably to some random Amazon guy in India. I am sure my canned response will be in my inbox in the morning. Anyway, here is what I sent. I urge everyone else to send in similar questions/complaints. Show them there is a fan base and that we are pissed.

My email:

"Where is Unsolved Mysteries season 5? It has been released in the U.K. And Canada, but of course not in the US at the moment. Why? And when will it be released? It is obviously not an issue with FilmRise or the Unsolved Mysteries people since Canada and the U.K. Already have it. This shows that it is strictly an Amazon issue. So please, do not give me a canned or generic response saying something about licensing or distribution issues. Amazon has simply decided not to release it yet in the US. So to answer my question and to make this customer happy, please respond only with answers as to WHY it has not yet been released and WHEN it will be released. All other seasons have been released the first week of the month, now here we are at the last weekend in May and nothing for this month. What is going on?"

LOL! I still haven't even made it through Season 1 entirely - I have had other pressing matters and haven't had the concentration to sit and watch them all (especially if I've seen them before). I am annoyed that they promised all the episodes and have so many that aren't available (some reasons don't even make sense, especially ones that were on Farina's version). The Telecenter episode really should be made available, as should the Final Appeal cases. But I guess I should be grateful they have put anything out at all, after years of pulling them from "the forbidden site". Still - could they find anyone better to narrate "This is not a news broadcast" besides the intern who gets Cosgrove and Meurer coffee every morning (Note: I don't know that it was actually an intern or if they get them coffee.)?!

Apparently Amazon is aware of the issue and it's indeed something on their end, or so I hear anyway.

Saw elsewhere there's a ticket number of 0113782524 if you want to contact them and reference it to get an update.
