Default Do you think Survivor has changed its image?

Mom has been a Survivor fan since it came out and she just saw the Season Finale of Survivor Game Changers and it makes me think that Survivor has adopted a new image for it's show. It seems to me that every single season of Survivor is rigged because it seems that the winners are randomly picked from the time the show begins and so I would like to know if this is a new thing of Survivor's new image? Because ever since Tina Wesson won the second season of Survivor in 2001 I've noticed this with the recent seasons of Survivor that they have done this to the contestants who win the million dollar prize and I cannot figure it out. A second thing I've noticed about Survivor is that almost every contestant who makes it to the final three tries very hard to get special attention so they can win the million dollar prize and I don't know why contestants on Survivor do this? Is it because CBS chooses contestants who audition for Survivor based on their stories or personality or do they choose contestants based on their skills? Finally why does Survivor do a two-hour finale with a reunion show at the end? I think that these reunion shows of Survivor are a waste of time and CBS should make the Survivor Season Finales one hour to make room for other CBS shows instead of having a two hour finale and reunion show
What has happened to Survivor these days?
Do you think Survivor has lost viewers due to this new image?

I'll give Survivor credit for changing things up as the seasons go on so it isn't the same exact show all the time. If they left it the same all the time, the show would get stale after awhile. I do wish they would go back to having two players as finalists instead of three, I don't like the three finalist format.

I think the new way they did the final tribal council in the finale last night was good, doing it as more of a group discussion instead of one person at a time. I too am skeptical that there is at least some rigging going on behind the scenes and wonder if the production team has some input as to which players stay in the game and which players leave.

I watch the show but I have to say I think it supports poor morals because it allows the players to lie to each other and backstab each other. And who in their right mind would want to put themself through self torture by being stranded out in the jungle elements for 39 days? I guess there will always be crazy adventurous people who will do just about anything for a shot at a million dollars. The Amazing Race is another crazy show where people run themselves ragged to try and win money. Big Brother is basically the same show as Survivor except it takes place indoors instead of outdoors.
