This was the episode in which Frank and Carmine are arguing about which music is better--yesterday's or today's (today's being the mid-1960s). One thing out of that episode was the series of "dream sequences" of stars like Laverne and Rhonda singing ("Blue Moon" by the Marcels comes to mind).
Why did they have those dream sequences? They didn't connect with Frank's and Carmine's conversation about music at all IMHO. The episode should have been thirty straight minutes of discussion between Frank and Carmine without those dream sequence "interruptions." |

Just something for them to do.
Actually, I think these little interuptions are cute. Shirley as the doctor and Carmine as the nurse doesn't make sense to me. i guess they were only showing examples... |
