Red River Sam
Beaver was reading Red River Sam books in Ward's Millions but he was still reading those books in Season 5. In Tennis, Anyone we see Beaver reading that same juvenile book when Wally is sitting on the bed thinking about his love triangle.
How about the way he acts when the Barons show up in their sports cars. He acts like a 5 year old racing up the stairs. |

Speaking of the Barrons, at first Beaver claimed he never heard of them.....3 seconds later he said they were weird for wearing gray slacks and jackets!

Nothing beats Beaver walking around in that bunny suit. That was originally written for an earlier season wasn't it? Sure seems like it.
As for Red River Sam, who knows? There were Middle School kids reading Hardy Boys still, at least when I was that age, even Encyclopedia Brown, so Beav still reading Red River Sam isn't that unrealistic. |

Speaking of the Barons for guys who thought they were better than anyone they weren't much to look at especially the head baron, Rick. That airhead, Bessie who was glad Wally was joining seemed to fit right in with them. Love how Wally mentions her boyfriend and she says he's impossible cuz he didn't get in with the Barons. Once again Wally showed restraint and wisdom by saying they were for the birds just like going steady.

Yeah middle school kids read stuff like that. I remember reading the Hardy Boys books around that age.
Don't get me started about the bunny suit. If that wasn't written for an earlier season, it sure should have been. Who ever heard of sixth grade putting on a thing like that? |

Ward was appalled looking at him. I'm surprised Beaver would wear that, he didn't want to wear a suit to the football banquet or that Eskimo sweater when he thought it was a girl's sweater.
