I read that Christian singer Sandi Patty has been on a farewell tour and the album of her farewell tour will be released in June and it makes me think that Sandi Patty is retiring from the music industry to focus on other things at the moment. Sandi Patty has been a constant favorite of many fans since she released her debut album in 1979 and learning this news about Sandi Patty's retirement is a shock to many fans. Because in Christian music she is the second popular artist next to Amy Grant and Sandi Patty is such a huge star that she even did her own informercials for a series of children's videos called the Sandi Patty Animated Bible Series and I hope she has a great future to focus on other projects she has planned

That would be sad if this were going to happen. She had been a major figure in Christian music since the 80's, and she is so talented.

I knew a lot about Sandi Patty because I heard one of her songs in one of my WOW Christian music series albums and I thought her voice was so fantastic and though I never have gotten a Sandi Patty album I always have liked her songs because they are so wonderful and leave you with a warm feeling. If Sandi Patty does indeed retire from the Christian music scene she will be left with an amazing library of her amazing music that her fans will treasure
