Default Christmas episode

I just saw on Logo last evening a season three Xmas episode I've never seen. MeTV hasn't run it that I know of. Mama replaces Vint as Santa Claus at Raytown mall. Thought it had a great ending when Carl's yellow star was on top of the tree!

Are there any other Christmas episodes or is this the only one filmed over the course of the series?

I know MeTV showed this episode around Christmas 2015, right before they started Mama in the regular schedule.

So there are two Christmas epidoes MeTv doesn't include in the cycle? I think MeTv may have shown the Mama-as-Santa episode Christmas 2016, too (I saw a quick glimpse during a commercial for Christmas-themed episodes that were scheduled to run, but I missed it).

Not sue why it doesn't include them in the regular cycle- it includes the Thanksgiving episode, so why not the Christmas ones?

Good question. I just now saw the "Mama as Santa" episode but have never seen "Mama gets Goosed". I believe MeTV shows other series Christmas episodes.

I have the first five seasons on DVD. I'll have to look for the Christmas episode(s). I swore I'd seen them all but apparently not!

I wonder if the Time Life DVD has the Harpers singing We Wish You A Merry Christmas over the closing credits of Santa Mama, or if it's yet another music licensing issue.

Sometimes networks only show holiday related episodes on or around the holiday it's related to. I know it was like that when Roseanne aired back in the earlier 2000s, they only showed their classic halloween episodes on or around halloween, same for christmas episodes and thanksgiving episodes.
