In 1987 the classic long running game show Concentration made a huge comeback to TV as Classic Concentration and featured Alex Trebek as the host and featured puzzles designed by Steve Ryan who is the co-author of The Encyclopedia Of TV Game Shows and played the same traditional way as the original Concentration with the winner going on to a bonus round trying their best to win a new car while trying to match different car brands and if a contestant matched all the car brands they won a car. Classic Concentration also featured Mark Goodson's daughter serving as a model along with model Diana Taylor. It's really a shocking surprise that you don't see Classic Concentration reruns on TV anymore since it's cancellation because it was a fun game show that everyone could have fun watching and GSN should bring Classic Concentration reruns to their lineup for something exciting to see on the channel and a revival of Concentration would be so cool to see on NBC someday

I loved Classic Concentration. I wish I had some of the episodes on DVD.

I got interested in Concentration and Classic Concentration after buying the Tiger handheld game of Concentration and I never realized how cute a game show Concentration was and how easy it was to play but it wasn't until I got a Nintendo game of Classic Concentration that I really got interested in Classic Concentration and I thought NBC did an awesome job of reviving a classic game show in an new 80's format and Gene Wood was a great announcer for Classic Concentration and that made the show extra fun. Did you know that Classic Concentration had 3 contestants named Devon Mark and Stan who held the records of winning a car in 25 seconds or less and there were also female winners of cars too
Classic Concentration was really fun and exciting to watch and game shows like Classic Concentration should really make a comeback because a lot of game show fans like matching games because they help people with skills

i mainly give David Downs(gamelover1949) & Nick Casiano(TVLubber) credit for uploading most of the Classic Concentration episodes online on YouTube lately

To me, Alex Trebek was a lot looser and funnier Han he was on Jeopardy. Concentration should be brought back.

One thing I didn't like about CC was the reduction in the number of squares from 30 to 25. Just didn't make any sense to me.

I still wish this show Concentration comes back to television...would Alex Trebek want that gig or should it go to John O'Hurley?
