Thumbs down I think that ABC should get rid of Disney's One Saturday Morning for good

I will tell you this. I really don't like the way One Saturday Morning is turning out. All their shows are just becoming replicas off of shows off of the Disney Channel. Whatever happened to The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show? Or Squigglevision? I remember when the only disney related show was on ABC was The Adventures of Winnie The Pooh and that was always on before the ABC Saturday Special. My favorite ABC Saturday Special was The Secret Garden, which had gone on for about six weeks continuing. Do you think that they should get rid of Disney's One Saturday Morning and bring back those awesome classic shows? I think they should.

Or at least bring Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show back!

Cordially,
Nathan Bush

Sad Where did they go wrong?

One Saturday Morning used to be used good fun, until they added stuff like "Lizzie Maguire" and "Even Stevens". Who the HELL wants to see those shows every Saturday morning? It's bad enough you see them on the Disney Channel. And they even got rid of Disney's Doug and Pepper Ann, but at least you can see them on Toon Disney regularly. And they totally dumped the "Schoolhouse Rock" cartoons. Man, Saturday Morning has really gone down the tubes. The only shows I ever watch on One Saturday Morning now is "Recess" and "The Weekenders". The rest is just plain trash.

Actually, Recess, and The Weekenders aren't officially part of ABC's One Saturday Morning.

Last year, ABC cancelled those two cartoons. But the cartoons went on as first-run syndication. Because they were on first- run syndication, many local ABC stations decided to show these two cartoons right after the "official" One Saturday Morning, to make it seem as they were never cancelled.

Default How much Must We Decent Cartoon Fans Complain!!!

Ok, i will as polite and as relaxed as i can. It seems that if we think that sitcoms have gone downhill in the late 1990s, cartoons are even worse. Let me ask you this! Who can stand watching a cartoon in which has put to sleep fantasy violence? Who can stand seeing and hearing a pretty girl cry for almost the ENTIRE cartoon? And then these people have the darn audacity and BALLS to laugh in our faces about the ratings? They have gone TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far! If I were Clair hanks Huxtable, I would say,"Let the records show that two examples of these, SAAAAAD, and Pitiful cartoons are As Told By Ginger and Pokemon! You should be a really ashamed of yourself." Belive this or not, I have personally boycotted the following: ABC starting in late 2000 when they took off the last groovy cartoon, Bugs and Tweety. FOX starting in 1997 when Power Rangers was going down the tube. However, I am begining to watch the original Power Rangers from about a few years back on my video tapes. In fact I recorded power Rangers every day since it started until 1997. Someday, these stations will learn what it is going to be like when we refuse to watch their cartoons. And as a result of us members at sitcomsonline.com, we will finally get what we want. Who is with me here? Let me hear ya' shout, "WE WANT THE 1980s and early mid 1990s LINE UP, BRO!"
Here is a line I observed on WGN TV in Chicago during a SUnday sports show
Cubs Empire: You say he was OUT!!!!
Visitor: He was not, he was safe
Cubs Umpire: I am telling you he was out!!!
Cubs Umpire: This is Wrigley Field, we want the good things not he garbage.

You need to remember that we are not who they are aiming for anymore. They are going for the children, we used to be children but not any more. The children of today enjoy these programs and like them very much. Now us we hate them and like our kind of cartoons and such. Now in about 10 years when todays children are like us they will be online complaining about how there cartoons were better than the stuff on now. You get what I'm saying?

AJ, I know what you mean. The only reason I am complaining is because, I enjoy watching cartoons. Other than South Park, there isn't any good stuff. I will stop complaining about this, but, I will still induce FOX to show at least 1 classic cartoon. By the way, since AJ and I understand it now, I think we should just get over it and watch videotapes of these shows we taped and re-re create the memories. What do you say?

"The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show" has been on ABC for years since it was taken off the air back in 2000. I used to watched it since I was a youngster.
