Kate was fixing herself a cup of coffee when a girl about 17 or 18 walked into the division. "Can I help you?"

"Uh,maybe, Are you Jinny Exstead?" The girl replied. She was a tall girl ,with shoulder length black hair,and green eyes.She looked quite a bit Like Jinny,only about 5 months pregnant.

"No,I'm not...."

"Is this where she works?" The girl was obviously very nervous.

"Yes it is,she's not working today though,can I take a message?"

"Uh....can I ask who you are?"

"I'm her captain"
"Uh....Just tell her: Kaitlyn Harris came by to see her........Tell my birth name was Elizabeth Marie.....Exstead." She ran her fingers through her hair ,just like Jinny does.

Kate looked at her in almost shock,She looked so much like Jinny it was scarey. "Will do."

"Uh....will she be in tomarrow?"

"Yes she will."

"Tell her I'll come back tomarrow,too" with that Kaitlyn walked out,not giving Kate a chance to reply.
"That was weird" Kate thought,as she headed for her office.
Then she stopped dead in her tracks." Was that........no,it couldn't be.........but what if.."

"Morning,Jin" Magda greeted,when She saw her bestfriend walking into the division.
"Morning"
"Oh,Jinny can I talk to you in my office a minute?" Kate asked,walking toward her office,a fresh cup of coffee in her hand.
"Now what did I do?" Jinny asked,following her.
"You,didn't do anything ,Jin" Kate sat down at her desk."shut the door"
"Then what do you want?"She shut the door.
"Yesturday,there was a girl about 17,She said her name was Kaitlyn Harris,came too see you."
"And..." Jinny sat down in a chair a cross from Kate's desk.
"She said she'd come back today..."
"So..."
"She also told me to tell you,her birth name was Elizabeth Marie...Exstead." Kate sighed. "She was almost identical to you,Jin"
"What?!" Jinny couldn't believe what she was hearing."I...is this some sort of twisted joke?"
"No,Jinny,it's not."
"So,you're telling me,that the daughter I gave up for adoption,some 17 years ago,just came waltsing in here yesturday!?"
"Yeah,I am,at least I'm pretty sure it was her."
"OMG!" Jinny had kind of a half smile on her face. " And...And she's coming back today?"
"That's what she said"
"Kewl" was all Jinny could muster,She was shell shocked "Well,I'm gonna get back to work now,did she say when she was coming?"
"No" Jinny starts to walk out. "Jin?"
"Yeah?"
"She's about 5 months pregnant"
Jinny just nodded,and walked out.

Okay,i'm gonna change Jinny's daughter's birthname to Cherilyn.Anyways, here's more.............

"Hey,Jin,what did Captain want?" Magda asked,as Jinny sat back down at her desk.
"Oh,nothing.Nothing important." Jinny answered. She would explain to magda later,right now she had bigger problems."Oh my god! How am i gonna tell him!?" Jinny asked herself.
"What Jin?" Magda thought she was talking to her.
"Oh nothing,nothing." Jinny replied,and went back to trying to find the best way to tell Jeremy that he has a daughter,that is 17.
"Oh my god,how am I gonna tell her she's the 1 that scares
me!? How she gonna react when I tell her she's a grandmother!?"
"Did you say something,Jinny?"Nate asked.
"I was talking to myself"
"Oh"
"Oh,why does my life have to be so complicated?!" Jinny thought to herself.
"Jinny,are you okay? You're acting kinda funny." Magda looked at her with concern.
"I'm fine,I'm fine..."
Then She walked in,Jinny knew it was her. "God,she does look just like me!" Jinny thought,fighting back tears. 'Stay calm,don't put the cart ahead of the horse,It might not even be her."
"Hi,you Jinny Exstead?" Kaitlyn asked.She herself was suprised at the resemblence.
"Yeah,You the girl that came by yesturday?" She just wanted to grab her and hug her till she turned purple.
"Your boss gave you the message."
"Yeah"
"Um...is there some place we can talk,...in private?"Kaitlyn rubbed over the slight tummy she was getting.
"Um...yeah,sure" Jinny looked around ,trying to think of a more private place.
"Here,use my office" Kate voluntered.She had just walked out of her office when Kaitlyn had walked in. She was even more shocked now,to see them side-by-side,it was just plain freaky.
"Thanx,Cap" Jinny said,she and Kaitlyn walked in and shut the door.
"Did you see how much that girl looked like Jinny?!" CD exclaimed
"I know!" Raina and Nate agreed in unison.
"Who is that?" Magda turned to Kate.
"She never told her!?" Kate thought to herself.
"Ummm...I dunno"
"She said she talked to you yesturday."
" Uh...well...all she said wasthat,her name is Kaitlyn Harris,and told me to tell jinny she'd come back today."
"Hmm"

"So,..uh.." Jinny didn't know what to say.
"Uh..." Kaitlyn ran her fingers through her hair. "So....what exactly did uh....your boss,tell you?"
"Uh... She said,that you came by,and said your name was Kaitlyn Harris,and your birthname was Cherilyn Marie...Exstead,and that you'd come back today." She sighed,glad the ice had been broken.
"So,I guess you know that I'm your.........at least I hope I am,I've been so peranoid ,What if Ihavethe wrong Jinny Exstead" Kaitlyn laughed nervously.
"You've got the right Jinny Exstead." Jinny smiled bigger then thought humanly possible. Tears began to stream down her face,she didn't bother trying to stop them.
"Oh god,I have so many questions for you!"Kaitlyn said,and hugged Jinny.
"I can bet,I have 10 times more questions for you!" She hugged her as tight as she could. "Here sit down."She motioned to a chair infront of Kate's desk,when she finaly let go of her daughter.
"So,...Kaitlyn,have you had a good life?Are ou happy? Are you healthy? What's your life been like? Do you hate me?" Jinny asked every question she'd ever had,in one breath.
"Yeah,I'm happy,I've had a very good life,h*ll,no I don't hate you.And call me Katie.
"Katie,you left out healthy,are you healthy?"
"....Yeah,I....uh...I'm... pregnant."She hesitated.
"Uh,yeah...my captain said she thought you might be."
Jinny nodded,it hadn't quite hit her yet,that she was gonna be a grandmother at 33. Kaitlyn nodded." So,uh....how far along are you?"
"I'm 19 weeks,uh....almost 5 months.
"Can I..uh.." Jinny reached her hand toward Kaitlyn's stomach.
"Of course." She took jinny's hand and put it on her beginnings of a belly.
"What say you, me go get some lunch,and talk?"Jinny suggested.
"I'd say Captain probably wants her office back."
"I'd love that" Smiled,They both got up and walked out.

"Hey,uh..Captain,if it's alright with you,I'm gonna go have lunch with....my daughter."Jinny put an arm around Kaitlyn.
"Of course it is,Jin" Kate patted Jinny's shoulder "take as much time as you need."

"Thanx" Jinny replied as she and Kaitlyn walked out of the division.
"Daughter!?" Magda exclaimed. She was shocked and confused.
"Come on,Mag,I'll explain eveything."Kate said,motioning for Magda to follow her into her office.

Okay,I know that last bit sucked,but anyways....want more??
