Him and his daughter were fun characters, I liked the episode where they climb out of the window of the hotel.

Andy, Barney and the Darlings were some of the funniest episodes. I love the one when Briscoe thinks Aunt Bee is interested in him. Denver Pyle was a character.

Were they one more than once? They were fantastic when the daughter was meeting her financee's bus.

They were on four different times I think. That includes one appearance in the color years.

I was curious so I checked IMDB for Denver Pyle. Turns out they appeared six times:
"The Darlings Are Coming" S3/Ep25 "Mountain Wedding" S3/Ep31 "Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee" S4/Ep05 "Divorce, Mountain Style" S4/Ep25 "The Darling Baby" S5/Ep12 "The Darling Fortune" S7/Ep06 |

Second all the above! LOVE Denver Pyle, and the Darlings....the boys who were "all keyed up" and their expressions never changed....such fun characters!
Love Ernest T. Bass too, of course! The supporting cast totally made the show! |
