Default I am back to being irritated with the writers

i expect realism in the characters and realism in the character development

martin is a mature person, caring and thoughtful and wise for his age by a long way. this is because of how he was raised.

these last 2 episodes have him acting like an immature teenager, or middle schooler. not only would he not be doing this stuff, he doesnt even seem to understand why it is inappropriate. in other words, the writers are not being realistic to the character development that they have already given martin.

and mac is so lame, that there is no realism in his character. no one is that clueless. even if you were born on a desert island, you wouldnt be that clueless !! he is playing the part of a buffoon - and i have never liked buffoons, even in comedies.

there is no role for a buffoon in a show like 7th heaven !!

there are only 2 episodes left to watch, so the writers had better take their time, and write something good, so they can keep up the show's reputation !!

hate to break it to you, but I don't think they are going to pull it off THIS time.

gosh, you were correct. that was a terrible ending - no closure at all. none of the old characters back. they just got into an rv and went riding around.

it was almost as if it should have been a starting episode of an entirely different show !!

in a way, i dont blame the writers. the show ran out of gas awhile back.

there just wasnt much left to write about. so it got bogged down with all that simon and rose stuff

and no old characters were still around

having sandy being engaged to someone that was hardly ever in the show didnt help

and for martin to end up with no one at all - was a poor choice

it was definitely time for the show to end, that is for sure !!

it had already jumped the shark. we didnt want to get eaten by it, as well - LOL

it was still a wonderful show, all in all - there was a lot of good messaging and stories in it
