Elton John

Elton John reportedly cancelled some concerts because he had a serious medical condition that he had to recover from.

Back in the mid to lat 1970s when he was at his peak of fame and popularity, I read that he had "glandular fever" once and was performing with the illness and eventually had to cancel to recover from it. I think I read that it was potentially deadly too.

Don't know if Elton is susceptible to some kind of illness. He is now at least 70 years old!! Still performing. Does he still have it? Should he still be performing at his age?

(I think I should start a thread about that, performers past their 50s still performing).
