In Season 5 we don't see a lot of Eddie. He could easily have been in the one when Wally wants to go to Scott's vacation place on the lake. He is also missing in the one when Wally has Evelyn as a chauffeur. They use Lumpy instead like in Beaver's First Date. Wally mentions him in Ward's Golf Club but we don't see him. Later he shows up again.

True. Also, I wondered why Clarence was in the receiving line at the dance. I thought it was funny when Beaver said, hiya, Lumpy.

I thought it was strange too that Clarence was in the receiving line as he was just a chaperone like Wally. That episode was strange. Someone said that Beaver was a moron by Season 5 well they were right. He's told to use the ladle to serve Betsy punch and he takes the ladle puts it in the bowl and is going to hand it to Betsy. Boy was that stupid. No wonder Betsy wants to dance with other boys.

He had arrived at the Awkward Age, and he sure proved it that night.
