I saw a commercial for Yes Laundry Detergent that starred actress Joanna Kerns and the commercial aired in 1981 and when I saw it I think Joanna Kerns was a commercial actress before starring as Maggie Seaver on Growing Pains
Is this commercial for Yes Laundry Detergent the first ever commercial that made Joanna Kerns a huge star in commercials?

Many actors/actresses started out in commercials so who knows maybe it was her, is there a link?

Before GP I know she'd guest starred on Three's Company, CHiPs and V-The Mini-series.
