In my box of music I found a cd by a singer named Basia and I would like to know if anyone has heard of her? She is a singer from Poland who got her start in a band named Matt Blanco before becoming a huge success in America with the 1987 album Time And Tide and released her first single New Day For You. When I first discovered Basia I was shocked at how well she sang and her music is wonderful to listen to
Be sure to check out Basia and you'll be surprised at her music. You'll love it Bestie |

I remember her hit "Baby You're Mine" and her cover of Aretha Franklin's "Until You Come Back To Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)." An underrated singer.

I picked up the Time and Tide cassingle at random from a thrift store appox. 2 years ago.
I thought it was alright, but I haven't heard much beyond that. Not exactly my wheelhouse. The music video was amusingly campy, at any rate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN1mfwY7gsQ |

The Very Best Song that Basia did back in the day was "Promises". It was a great song that she did.
