This is literally the hardest thing to find on the internet. I remember searching years ago (I believe back in the day of AIM) and coming up with nothing. I search again today, many years later, and still nothing. I am looking for my favorite Joanie quotes. If I could remember what episodes they came from that would help, but sadly I cannot. The first quote is when she's sent upstairs to her room she says something about everything happening in the house she has to find out on the streets. The second one is when she says she'll write a book called something like I'm a Prisoner in My Own House (or something like that).

I'm checking out the favorite quotes thread to see if it has them.

She didn't have many funny lines.

One I remember was in the episode when she had a crush on Potsie and sent him unsigned love letters to intrigue him. She met him alone at Arnold's after hours. When he turned her down because she was a kid she sat alone in Arnold's and hid under a table when Richie came in looking for her. Richie picked up her coat and said, "Joanie, I know you're here because I gave you this coat for Christmas". From under the table Joanie says, "I lent it somebody."

That might have been her biggest laugh on the show.
