Some random thoughts...

I like that Remington Steele is returning, bummed that CHiPs is leaving. I'm very much ready for something to replace the Hogan's Heroes hour. Meanwhile...I haven't seen Swamp Thing in years!

MacGyver didn't stay too long at all.

Three AGS?

I can only hope they have more seasons of My Three Sons than 6-10, but it's probably same old, same old. At least, it's back.

Sunday afternoons look really good.

I really wish they'd soft peddle the westerns.

I hope they will be. I actually prefer the color episodes, mostly because I'm in the minority of those viewers who find Barney Fife more annoying than endearing. I also like seeing Mayberry in color time to time and also seeing a more mature Opie.

Locally we get Mayberry RFD, but I'd have to think that "alone" showing of AGS would be the color episodes. They haven't been showing them, I don't think...and they're paying for them. Just like TVLand, which has also scrapped them.

Now this is more like it!! Finally, I may actually watch this channel again. I love that they are airing sitcoms earlier in the afternoon! The Mary/Rhoda hour on Sundays is a nice touch!

Late afternoons are actually pretty good. But they still can't seem to boot Hogan's Heroes out of the same spot it's been in for ages. And Saturday still sucks as usual and they still won't give Get Smart a good time and more airings. But ALF will be good to watch.

It's not bad. Still my favorite channel. They've improved 4-6PM weekdays. I love the Griffith show, but agree they don't need it at 6:30 too. They've improved 9PM with Mama's Family, but I'd much rather see TDVDS, MTM, or The Odd Couple between 9-11 than ALF and two showings of HH. 9-11 is still much too weak for classic TV fans who hate what's on the networks. That's a time to schedule classic family sitcoms that have wide appeal to adults. Otherwise, MeTV is still doing a good job. Glad it's there.

Too much MASH, Hogan and westerns. I wish that their Sunday line-up would run M-F. I could live with their westerns on the weekend.
