It seems a little strange but I'm ok with it, I really don't think they should get married.

I think it's both good and bad. On one hand, it should finally prove that the Lillith and Frasier relationship is over and has been for some time. I like Roz's character a lot, I just don't know how the chemistry will be. The one thing with sitcoms that really bugs me, is the necessity with writers to eventually hook up the co stars. Friends is the perfect example of that!

Frasier and Roz have NO romantic chemistry. I think it's ridiculous. I may be one of the biggest Frasier/Lilith fans, but I still always had this warped fantasy of Lilith and Sam hooking up... the chemistry was there with them. I don't like the Frasier/Roz idea at all. Ick.

Lilith: I mapped out our dominant and recessive traits on a genome square, applied Mendel's laws, allowed for anomolies, and concluded that you are the best biological choice.
Frasier: I see. Well, enticed as I am by your honeyed words, I'm gonna need some kissin'.
Lilith: Frasier, don't misunderstand. I'm not proposing any change in our relationship.
Frasier: Would we sleep together?
Lilith: I thought we'd freeze your sperm.
Frasier: Is that a yes or a no?
Lilith: Natural fertilization isn't practical. I'd have to fly to Seattle every time I ovulate.
Frasier: Right, okay. So then, your plan is for me to visit some local doctor, freeze my essence, and then bring it home with you.
Lilith: Correct. I'll take mine to go!

Arrow Frasier & Roz

I don't think they should get together, (Such a sitcom cliche),

(which episode are you up to in the States, is it a new one or are you talking about the time "they nearly did it" in the episode "Hot Pursuit"?

We are up to the Cheers Reunion one this Friday in UK, can't wait!!

Look, I'm not saying that Frasier and Roz will be the next Lucy & Ricky or even Sam & Diane, but let's see what kind of chemistry they have as a couple before rushing to any conclusions. You won't know until we see it.

Why is it that a man and a woman are incapable of having a friendly, platonic relationship on TV? One of my favorite aspects of "Frasier" was the friendship that Frasier and Roz had, and now it's about to become like every other sitcom out there. The pairing up seems so cliche--if I wanted to see that, I'd watch "Friends". Not to mention that Niles and Daphne haven't even moved in together yet. Two couples at once on the show seems like an extremely bad idea.

No, it wasn't a re-run......

.......and just something to think about everyone........They've been friends for 9 years.....And they haven't ever been in love with eachother.....so if this does last, its only gonna go on for about 2 more years.

Any Comments?

I'd have thought that if they were in love with each other, it would have shown up by now. Nine years is a long time to be friends, and I can't think of any instances in the real world when someone's turned around after all that time and decided they were in love with their good friend. I know that all my male friends are like brothers to me, so just the thought of a physical relationship with them--yuck! Not that they're bad guys, they're just not right for me. Same goes with Roz and Frasier.

This is the sitcom world not real life. To compare the two is like apples and oranges! Friends is the perfect analogy. How real is it that friends grow old together, fall in love with one another, live together and have babies together? If that can happen, then I'll buy Frasier and Roz falling in love. I will agree, however, that it does seem to be mandatory to eventually pair up co stars. That's stupid!

I just have to say, Friends worked the romances in correctly. Ross had been in love with Rachel since 9th grade. That coupling was very believable. Rachel never really knew the real Ross until she moved in with Monica, and when she got to know him, she fell in love with him.

As for Monica and Chandler... they had been hinting at that pairing since the first season. Chandler and Monica made a pack that season that if neither were married by the time they were 40, they'd have a baby together. They were constantly flirting... Chandler had a thing for Monica, it was obvious... but Monica didn't for Chandler. At the beginning of their relationship, it was all about sex, then they realized they were in love with each other. I think that is the route Frasier is heading in. The only difference is, there has been no real hint of them being romantically linked, like Chandler and Monica throughout the years (the pack, Chandler nagging her about sleeping with him if he was the last man in the world, just random sweet moments which I can't list out at the moment... I'd have to go watch all my tapes... LOL).

I just think the writers of Friends had these things set up, like the writers of Frasier had the Daphne/Niles pairing set from the get go. I think this Roz/Frasier thing was a random decision, because their friendship never ever showed signs of leading up to this.

I love Roz and Frasier and I don't want to see their relationship ruined over this! They have great chemistry together, as Dulcey said... like brother and sister... not romantic chemistry! Yuck, yuck, yuck!!
