McHale's Navy-Good Clean Fun

I remember watching this show as a kid and really loved it. It was always something to look forward to after school and I'm really glad this website and discussion board exists for it. I think this show is what got me interested in the US Navy and its glorious history. This was a much better program than most of what exists today. No dirty language and some really funny situations. Parents could rest easy knowing their kids could have some good clean fun and also learn about cooperating with each other as McHale's crew often did to get out of trouble with Captain Binghamton. I only wish I could get episodes of it. If the networks were smart they would show this show and many old other shows instead of wasting money on junk that lasts a few months.

You are so right. So many wonderful shows are forgotten, simply because networks had rather air trash and commercials.
