Default Wish this Complete Series Set was with the Uncut Episodes

This complete series of ALF is the same cut up episodes that was released from Lions Gate back in the 2000s. This complete series set of ALF being released by Lions Gate is a whole waste of time because they are the same cut up episodes as the previous season sets. I can't believe Lions Gate would even waste their time releasing this because the sales are not going to do well. Lions Gate had years to get the original uncut episodes cleaned up and re-stored in their original format but no they had to release the same exact thing they have already released in the 2000s. It's a shame Lions Gate didn't take the time to get us the original uncut episodes that all of us ALF fans have been waiting for all these years! Lions Gate should have listened to all the complaints and concerns from their consumers about the previous releases of ALF being released, but it seems like Lions Gate ignores its consumers and paid no attention! I hope someday Lions Gate will get the original uncut episodes released on DVD or let some other studio buy the rights from Lions Gate. Video Service Corp released 3 episodes of ALF on DVD back in 2002 and they were the original uncut episodes. Maybe Lions Gate should sell the rights to Video Service Corp or Shout! Factory who can buy the rights and release ALF on DVD with the original uncut episodes, unless Lions Gate decides to do so.

Thats sad to hear...... I thought Lions gate knew what they were doing!!

They released SAW and SAW II on VHS in full screen and beautiful!!!!! (They couldnt have been better!!) Warm Audio,SP mode,NOT DIGITALLY MASTERED (SAW I was digitally mastered on the DVD I believe (And they both are letterbox (Well all 7 of them)))

For 2004 it was amazing!!!!! (Seeing SAW II also done the same was even more amazing)

Its sad they didnt do more than the first 2 but then again, they get WORSE after the 2nd one so its no biggie.........

Im sorry they didnt do ALF well!

The next best thing to an uncut series is the German product. If I recall correctly only 2 episodes have been tampered with. They've removed ALF and Jodie listening to the Chipmonks from "For Your Eyes Only" and used the syndicated version of "The Ballad of Gilligan's Island". But even this version has far more intact than the US version.

Is there a direct link where you can purchase the German uncut series? If so, what is the link?

Where did you guys purchase your Region Free Players to be able to watch the German release? Do you guys have a DVD Region Free Player or a Bluray Region Free Player?

So, still no "play all" feature?

They have ALF hit his head in the bath tub. The German Set is 99% Unedited and Uncut. The German Set is the best version out there. Of course you need to have a Region Free BluRay Player to watch it.

The Japanese set is identical to the German one except the episodes are in the correct NTSC framerate. So the German set is in fact second best.
