"The Mind Benders", TCM, tonight. Yeah, I know, the title..well..
just isn't one that's going to get a reaction..from most people..like, "I HAVE GOT TO SEE THAT." Made in 1963, it's about sensory deprivation experiments (such stuff actually happening in California in the '60s, of all places and times).
Stars Mary Ure and Dirk Bogarde. Shown before it, another excellent film with a similar theme, "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962). |
