So, I have been watching on Hallmark, and then I discovered the series on Youtube. However, I also discovered that Hallmark HEAVILY edits the show when they air it. Case in point:
Season 1: Episode 17. The Raid. Jonathan and Jennifer to go to South America to rescue some friends who are being held hostage. There is a scene where they are trying to figure out how to sleep in a bed that is much smaller compared to theirs, and at one point, Jennifer falls out of the bed. That whole scene is cut out. Season 1: Episode 19 oes she or Doesn't She? Basic premise is Jennifer gets her hair done and a lady shoots up the place. As always, J and J investigate. So, there is a scene where they are running from bad guys and they jump off the roof and onto some mattresses in a truck that is being driven away. And Jennifer says "That's one way to get me into bed". And then the whole next scene is Jonathan massaging her and them discussing what they are going to do. At the end of that scene, Max calls them and tells them they have company, so they go downstairs, and then he leaves and she stands up and grabs her back. Hallmark literally edited out the line she says when they land in the truck, the whole massage scene, and her grabbing her back at the end of the visitor scene. Season 1, Episode 20: Cruise at Your Own Risk- The opening scene with J and J has Jonathan driving to work, and calling her and thanking her for starting his Monday off so nicely, and her saying it was her pleasure and him telling her to have a nice day. Hallmark cut the whole thing out. I can get editing for content sometimes, but in my opinion, there was never anything that was overly sexual about the show. And if you are going to edit one of them, edit all of them, but it seems like they are picking and choosing.... sorry, I'm just irritated. |
