When USA droped the Facts of Life, how long was it before Nick at Nite started airing it?

FACTS OF LIFE TELIVISED HISTORY
August 1979 - September 1988: National Brodcasting Company (NBC)
1993 - September 1998: USA Network
September 2000 - June 2001: Nick At Nite
I got that info from factsoflife.cjb.net. I guess two years! That's a pretty long time, I hope we don't have to end up waiting for FOL to come back on air that long or longer.
