The people who continue to colorize the show should see this just to get the colors right.

I think they got the lamp shades right, but they didn't on the horizontal striped wallpaper, or the couch.

That is NOT the original set. This is a picture from the traveling exhibit that went around the country about a dozen years ago. I know the people who are doing the colorization and they are taking great pains to get it right by understanding 1950s color schemes in similar settings. The actual set was NOT all these colors because those colors would not photograph well in black and white. Conversely, using the actual colors from the actual studio set in the colorized versions would not come across well either, and would not represent what people would have seen in real life in the '50s.
