Default Connection is not secure

I've been getting messages saying "Connection is not secure. Logins entered on this page could be compromised." Does the address for the site have to be https? I'm only vaguely familiar with the differences between www, https, etc. so I have no idea what I'm doing.

Also I am using Firefox.

I've also been getting that lately, and I'm also on Firefox.

I have been getting it recently also. it's a change in Firefox, not the website.

Basically, do you really think anyone in the world gives a **** if you come here to post about old TV shows?

I think https is used for e-commerce and banking sites. I don't know how easy it would be easy to switch everything over to https. The passwords are secure and encrypted in the software. You should never use the same password on all sites.

I'm able to type in "https://" in front of the existing address and it works fine (that was one of the tips Firefox said to try). Otherwise it won't even let me log in. But I think like Babalu said this is a Firefox design issue rather than a problem with the site itself.

Yes they are trying to scare people FOR NO REASON!!!!!

ALL SITES ARE NOT SECURE.... Even with HTTPS,the elite can still see everything!!

I hate firefox, always have...... DONT LISTEN TO THIER SCARE TACTICS PLEASE GUYS!!

One VBB site I am on does have an HTTPS layer so if ppl want to use HTTPS they can (And the site stays in an HTTPS session) but they dont force it because it causes all kinds of connection problems for older browsers,etc........... (Unless RC4 is enabled)

I got that same message when I logged in today and I too am using Firefox so I know this site is safe and I logged in and no problems, might be your Virus blocker on your computer or Ad blocker on your browser or both. . . . . . .
