Cases where doesn't seem to be any information about it outside of the UM segment - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

it seems some stories features on the segments have no information about them out side of the UM segments. Not even an article.

examples

The Wackers
Sarah Powell
Aileen Conway
Lisa Bishop and the Freedon
Phillip Fraser (I think)

and I am sure there are more

this is too bad

Never been able to find any information about the Don Smith murder, but that's one of those cases that's frustrating to search for since it's such a common name.

I also don't believe I've ever uncovered any articles about Matthew Chase's murder.

I always wanted more information on the Monica Libao case. Heck, I'm still a little shocked that we don't have any super-long discussions on it, because holy cow!

The one about Gail Noltan, the Salem woman who disappeared in 1992. Her case was part of the Laurie Cabot segment in 1997.

The Monica Libao case is quite fascinating. I mostly credit the lack of discussion to there being little to discuss. We don't know enough about the circumstances under which she would have been abducted to formulate theories. The only thing up for discussion would seem to be whether or not she really was abducted or was instead an "off the grid" adoption. Her mother's hysterectomy is proof that she didn't give birth to Monica. From there, everything that points to abduction is fairly subjective. That would be the only potential avenue of discussion, and it would be based on personal feelings rather than real evidence. That makes it unlikely to be bandied for too long on here.

I wonder if he legally changed his name so it would stop being an issue. But yeah... he basically fell off the face of the earth after the charges were dismissed.

I'd imagine if Tim is alive and knew about all the attention he gets on this forum from certain people he'd be happy as Larry and basking in the limelight.

It seriously pains me that so little is known about Anna Anton and that we don't even have a picture of her.

I jokingly suggested a few weeks ago that she really was in the Witness Protection Program... I'm starting to wonder...

It's certainly a possibility I've considered since there was very little about her. Even if she wasn't actually in witness protection, she had a past that someone wanted to remain secret. Since they were able to solve the case without revealing more about her (because this was a wanted segment looking for a specific fugitive), they obviously left that stuff out. Definitely frustrating.

There isn't much information about Rebecca Young, the girl who got murdered in Florida and the Spanish guy witnessed it and called police. There are a couple of articles but that's it. Also Tom Roche, the motor biker who disappeared then his remains were found. I may be wrong so if anybody finds anything let me know!

This drives me up the wall as well. It has always been a case my younger brother and I quote a lot, other than Omar. We were in a diner last week and he casually looks up to me to ask: "were you and Anna Anton ever intimate?".

I'll be damned if I wasn't wiping coffee off the walls and table.
