I was thinking of the picnic with the Rutherfords when Fred made Violet sit on Beaver's lap in the car on the way up!

No, its the first episode where it starts out with Judy reading about the picnic. At the picnic was said like five times in two paragraphs.

How about the father and son picnic (Ward's Problem) when Beaver thinks Ward is taking Wally fishing. Miss Landers rubs it in by saying he's the only one who won't be going. Whitey offered his uncle if someone had no father and later says Charles Fredericks is using his uncle. Wonder if the Fredericks split up after disagreeing on how to raise a child. Love how Beaver said the picnic was called off because of an "epidemics."
