Default Which episode began...

Can you help me out?
Which episode began with the Bunkers and Stivics sitting around the table playing Monopoly?
I believe it's from the first season. Do you know?
Also, in which episode did Mike and Gloria trick Archie into eating horse meat? I loved that one.

The Monopoly episode is titled "Archie Gives Blood" -- which, by the way, just happens to be airing tonight (Sat night / Sun morning) at 4am Eastern on N@N. The horse meat episode is definitely from the 1st season as well. I will have to look over my DVD and get back to you. It could be coming any day now on N@N, if they haven't already played it. There are only 13 eps in the first season.

Default Horse meat

Thanks for the info on the Monopoly episode.
I was thinking the horse meat episode might be "The Bunkers and Inflation" but that would be like 5th season.
If you happen to see the horse episode, let me know.
Thanks again, "Smokin' Sods"!

The horse meat scene is from the episode "Edith's Conversion". The episode aired during the 1973 - 1974 season.

Red face

Oops! I could have sworn I saw the horse meat one very recently, which is why I thought it was on my first-season DVD. I stand corrected. I'm glad somebody had the answer! I remember Mike is cracking horse jokes to Archie, who doesn't realize he is eating horse meat. Funny stuff.
