Default How would you rank the Angels and Bosley?

Here's my ranking from favorite to least favorite: I changed it from my original post.

1. Kelly Garrett -- my favorite.

2. Sabrina Duncan

3. Jill/Kris Munroe tied.

5. Tiffany Wells/John Bosley tied.

6. Julie Rogers - my least favorite.

As you can see, Kelly is my favorite.....and Julie is my least favorite. However, I love Bosley and all the Angels.

2. 3 way tie: Kelly, Jill, Kris.

3. Bosley. His role was mainly a facilitator, and later on... comic relief.

4. Tiffany

Julie is my least fav.

I haven't watched any 4th or 5th season episodes since they first aired.

4) Julie

5) Sabrina

6) Tiffany

Bosley? Eh, he's in his own category.

She's beautiful no doubt, but her acting was kinda rough. IMO, she did not seem to 'fit' like the other girls.

Glad they kept David Doyle. He was much better than this guy..

Was that from the pilot? Ashamed to say I can't recall this gentleman, though he's obviously related to a Winchester.

Yes, original pilot. David Ogden Winchester!

Sad thing about these kinds of questions is that it ends up making those who respond seem as if they 'didn't' like some of those listed, i.e. 'somebody's got to end up at the bottom.'

I actually didn't dislike any of them; this was just my personal preference, if forced to choose. It was interesting to see Michelle Pfieffer listed as a potential Angel. She would have barely been out of high school was she was potentially cast!

The originals and first of anything are always the best. It's typical that TV shows lose their appeal/novelty the longer they continue: Charlie's Angels, All in the Family, MASH, Happy Days, Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, etc. There are exceptions, but it is rare.

Agree that that's almost always the case. In the case of M*A*S*H, I'd say the replacement characters were stronger than those they replaced, except for Henry/Potter, where it was pretty much a tie for me.

Characters were stronger yes, but as Alda gained control, the show became more political and less comedic... I didn't like that. The show lost it's appeal with me when Trapper left. IMO, it jumped the shark when Frank left and Charles came on board. First 3 seasons were the absolute best.

MASH was a mixed bag as far as replacements. Harry Morgan was fine. Steier was good, but not as funny as Linville. Farrell was the least funny actor I've ever seen in a comic show.

As for the Angels, they struck gold with Cheryl Ladd, who wasn't as popular as the phenomenon Fawcett, but was still very, very good.
