There is gonna be a game show of Candy Crush premiering this summer on CBS? That's a surprise because Candy Crush is a favorite game of my mother and me so i'm curious how a Candy Crush game show will work on TV because it sounds cute. Any more info on it and also who will be the host for the Candy Crush game show?
Thank you JamesG for the info

I was talking about the Candy Crush game show with my mom and she was shocked that they have now decided to make Candy Crush a game show that i'm sure that fans of the Candy Crush game app will love when it debuts on CBS. As you know King "The company that makes Candy Crush" has now become very popular with many spin-offs and sequels of Candy Crush game apps ranging from Bubble Witch Saga Alpha Betty and many other apps so based on how successful the Candy Crush game show will be I think Candy Crush will become even more popular than ever

Mario Lopez is gonna host the Candy Crush game show? How exciting because the only game show I remember seeing him in was the kids game show Masters Of The Maze that aired on Saturday Mornings on The Family Channel. So I think he will be a great fit for Candy Crush because it's so fun
Thank you JamesG you are truly one in a million

During today's episode of Let's Make A Deal CBS aired the first ever preview of the new Candy Crush game show and based on what I saw from the preview of Candy Crush it features teams of contestants crawl on a Candy Crush board just like the app version and trying to match the pieces of the candy with their bodies. The preview of the Candy Crush game show also showed a part of the game where the contestants are supposed to climb the top of a giant Candy Crush game board so i'm guessing that this is supposed to be a bonus round to the Candy Crush game show. Other than showing a clip of Mario Lopez the preview doesn't mention July 9th as the start date of the Candy Crush game show but all it says is "Coming This Summer" so I think CBS is expecting the Candy Crush game show to be a hit for the summer

I saw the Candy Crush game show and what I thought of it in my opinion is that it seems to be a cross of a exercise video with a game show style on the side and I cannot believe that CBS and King decided to make Candy Crush a game show that is a weak adaption of a popular tablet app. The other thing I cannot figure out why they did this in the Candy Crush game show is they turned the board into a floorboard similar to a kids bounce house and what I can see is the teams of contestants might get injured if they bounce too high while they try to play the game. The bonus round of Candy Crush is also the weakest bonus round i've seen in any game show and what I can see of it is another way the contestants will get hurt and I disliked how the contestants have to climb a really high ladder to win the game. Mom and I had such high hopes for this game show adaption of Candy Crush but I can predict that this show will be cancelled after the next episode. I think if I would like to enjoy Candy Crush i'll stick to playing the Candy Crush app. I think in the future CBS should design much better game shows that are fun and involve trivia

It looks silly. CBS making a show all because of a popular game?

No thank you.

Mom and I love to play Candy Crush and so when I first heard about the Candy Crush game show I thought it would be cute but I doubt that the Candy Crush game show will last long on CBS. I also saw Mario Lopez on Candy Crush and thought he did alright but he seems to want to have fun rather than hosting the show and to me the Candy Crush game show will attract an audience of girls who were Saved By The Bell fans who will think Mario is still cute. I think CBS could've done much better with this Candy Crush game show

My mom now plays Soda Saga instead of Candy Crush.

Hi, Bestie! I have only seen the commercials for the game. What I saw looked stupid. Your review tells me that I am right. Thank you Bestie for the info. I agree that it could have been much better. Also, how is a senior citizen going to play the game on tv? They are discriminating. Thanks for the review Bestie! It was helpful as usual!
Keep chasing your dreams!
