Ironic...

I actually went to this horror convention a few years back in LA and Sara Rue was there. And we hung out, she was nice. Then, at one point, we were just sitting at this table...and she nudged my side, and was all giggly and was all like, "OH MY GOD!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT CHRIS SARANDON IS ACTUALLY SITTING ONLY A FEW FEET AWAY FROM ME!!! AHHHH!!!!!". And, sure enough...HE WAS!!!! She was trying not to get loud, but she couldn't help herself. She started telling me how she is a huge fan of "Fright Night" and that Mr. Sarandon as Jerry Dandridge was her very first crush growing up and how she has wanted him to bite her neck since she was 7-years-old. I then mentioned to her that, ironically, William Ragsdale (Charley Brewster in "Fright Night") played her love interest for a few episodes of her show, "Less Than Perfect" and I told her I remember watching and thinking they had some nice chemistry there. However, she was surprisingly not that enthusiastic about William, saying, "Yeah, he was nice" and that he was on the show through his friendship with one of the show's writers. I then told her that William was there at the convention also and that maybe they can have a little mini-reunion. And she said something like, "Yeah, maybe, I don't know" as she seemed wayyyy more interested in Mr. Sarandon. However, I think she lost her nerve, because she never went over to him.
