"The Good Fight" Recruits Jane Lynch (Exclusive)

Jane Lynch is headed to court. The Emmy winner is set to guest-star on "The Good Fight", The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Lynch will play Agent Madeline Starkey, an FBI lifer who is just as quirky as you'd expect of someone who can't be fired. Affable, unassuming with a pleasant manner, she can sometimes play dumb, but is extremely shrewd.

She will appear in episode nine, set to debut April 9 on CBS All Access.

Although Lynch is currently only slated for one episode, creators and showrunners Robert and Michelle King are leaving the door open for future return appearances.

"Jane Lynch has a particularly fun role, so it would be lovely to have her back," Robert tells THR.

She was so good in this role. I just caught up with TGF recently, and the show was better than I expected. I love the way they cast special guests who turn out so right for the character - not just 'stunt casting'.
