Is anyone familiar with this show on the Science Channel? I really enjoy this show because it seems genuine and so unlike other reality shows. There is no camera crew and he films all the shots himself with handheld cameras as he survives out in the wilderness for a week. I've learned a lot from this show and it's fun to see all the interesting locations he goes to around the world.

Les Stroud was the star of this show. He's Canadian. I watched this show a lot when it ran on Discovery Channel. I don't think it is still on the air. You can search his name at www.bing.com

I haven't been keeping up with the show lately but it hasn't ended. They had a few new episodes last year (on Science channel)
