Default TV shows that you don't like that are now considered timeless classics

I know there is a previous thread asking for names of tv shows you like that are considered bad, but now I'd like to know of shows that are generally viewed as timeless classics that you don't like.

For me, I don't like:
The Love Boat
All in the Family
Good Times (after John Amos)
Get Smart
The Andy Griffith Show
Night Gallery
The Mod Squad
Quincy, M.E.
Diagnosis Murder

The Golden Girls and All in the Family would be the biggest 2.

For me, it would be:

Little House on the Prairie
The Andy Griffith Show
The Waltons
I Love Lucy

I don't like any western, especially "Gunsmoke" and "Bonanza".

I can't stand "M*A*S*H", "Hogan's Heroes", "The Monkees", "The Partridge Family", "Columbo", "Seinfeld", "The Simpsons", and "Friends"---yes, some people consider the last 3 train wrecks "timeless classics".

I'm not too fond of "The Honeymooners" or "The Dick Van Dyke Show" but I can watch an episode here and there.

I dislike Friends and Seinfeld. Never got the appeal, both were stupid and too sexual for me.

I used to like "FRIENDS" but now I'm just so tired of it, it's been on so long. Same with "ALL IN THE FAMILY" Archie gets on your nerves. I used to love "MASH" but now I just like (but not love) the first 3 seasons, before they made a HUUUGE mistake by letting Alan Alda take control of the writing and direction. Now I look at a lot of those later episode-especially from the last few seasons-when it got all dramatic and preachy and I think "What the HELL did I ever see in this?"

I don't like any western either.

I do like "Partridge Family", "Columbo", & "Seinfeld" though. As for "The Honeymooners", I like it but not enough to binge watch or whatever. "The Dick Van Dyke Show" is one of my favorite sitcoms actually.

One show I would say that I don't like that's considered a classic is "The Cosby Show." I will watch an occasional episode now and again, but I just don't understand why people think it's like the best sitcom ever made.

So they will! It's in the eye of the beholder. None of those are my cup of tea either, but hey, if they lasted as long as they did (with The Simpsons still going), apparently they must have had something going for 'em.

The Cosby Show
I Love Lucy
Growing Pains
Who's the Boss?
How I Met Your Mother
Two and a Half Men
The Big Bang Theory
Cheers
Night Court

(not sure if ALL of these are considered "timeless classics" but I know they are all beloved by many)

I like westerns. I don't love them, just like them. They are good to watch occasionally. One of the things that kind of irritates me about the shows is the way some of the women dress in the episodes. Most (not all) of the women are wearing clothes and hairstyles that were not synonymous with the time period. Very 1960's hairstyles with low cut tops. I know they aired in the 60's, but they could have been more realistic. For example, if you google the images for Patricia Blair in The Rifleman, that's what I'm talking about. Women did NOT dress like that. It was very clear it was for ratings and nothing else.

By The Way , what's with the hate for westerns? Their pretty good if you ask me
I've also never understood why so many people here hate westerns. I LOVE them and wish the networks would revive them.

I love The Rifleman but not so much shows like Bonanza or Gunsmoke. The hour-long westerns seem more anthologic in nature, relying heavily on guest characters and their backgrounds and less on the established regulars. At least that's from what I've seen. They seem to be very well produced but often tedious to sit through IMO.
