Looks like David Cassidy is drunk again, playing a show somewhere in a bad state. Article above. |

There is a lot on the internet about it. The vultures are circling their weak, dying prey. See links below
Seriously, the situation looks grim. There probably will be no recovery for David at this point. When Whitney Houston died, the reports that came out were that, weeks before her demise, she was acting erratically and apparently under the influence. ![]() http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment...g-concert.html http://www.msn.com/en-us/music/celeb...085?li=BBnb7Kz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9m0qOUZ744 |

Very sad he's never been able to get it together-I feel sorry for him.

Seems he wasn't drunk, after all. Doesn't make the situation any sadder, though, but hopefully there will be less finger pointing and more sympathy.

He actually handled the problems that came with his fame very well throughout most of his life. It was only during the past 6 or 7 years that he has had really bad problems. His first arrest was when he was 60. Not to downplay his faults, but not to overplay them either. Apparently he saw what happened to his grandparents and mother and he always knew that when he gets into his senior years he is also likely to develop dementia. At this point it does not seem that he is making it up (his dementia). It must be a big part of why he felt tormented and drank even more, not that he should have done that. Of course being an alcoholic and having dementia is a bad mix. It seems he reached a point of no return though. I don't know if he will recover. I think it is best he retires and put as much attention to taking care of his health . |

Regardless, it's sad. And alcoholism is very tough to overcome. |
