This is Apple Blossom weekend in Winchester, Virginia. the event runs from Thursday thru Sunday with 2 parades, circus, carnival, abd tons of other events. This years stars include Dan Ackroyd from Saturday Night Live/Blues Brothers, his wife Donna Dixon, the 60s band "The Rascals", country singer Neal McCoy and ....... ..Lucie Arnaz and her husband. Their daughter ( Lucy's granddaughter ) is this years "queen". There is a story about Lucy in today's ( Wednesday 5/1 ) edition of the Winchester Star. Its about when she was grand marshall back in 1964. www.winchesterstar.com its in a story about a woman sharing her 70 bloom memories. click on "memories in bloom". according to her Lucy and Col. Harland Sanders ( founder of KFC ) have something in common.
