Marie Hilley film - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've always been fascinated by the Marie Hilley story and just recently learned that Judith Light played her in a film...I'd love to see that!

Judith Light is a great actress but I've always thought that Sally Field would be the perfect pick for playing Hilley. The actress UM got to play her in the segment was awesome and has always reminded me of Sally Field...she could even pass for Field's sister.

I agree with you completely. Judith Light is very talented, but Sally Field would make a much more natural pick, especially based on UM's portrayal.

If you want to watch it, just type "Wife, Mother, Murderer" into Youtube. I've seen it and Judith Light does do a pretty convincing job.

I liked Judith Light (with Ricky Schroder) in the TV movie "Too Close to Home".
