TV episodes that rely on "dovetailing" to tell a story
Basically, "dovetailing" happens when each character has a separate storyline and all the characters stories end up involved in the same climax. Can you think of any other TV episodes that do this, besides Season 4 of Arrested Development, pretty much every episode of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, the pilot of Modern Family, the American Dad episode "Finances with Wolves" and the Futurama episode "300 Big Boys"?
