The place closed in November 2017.

Owner Michael J. La Rue posted on the cafe’s Facebook page:

These are the main reasons why many new establishments don't make it:

- no business / can't pay rent
- mismanagement
- health code violations

I also read that the owner was accused of sexual harassment by his former personal assistant.
