Congrats Janice and all all the other Patriots fans. It was a great game and Tom Brady proved he's the greatest QB of all time. I'm just in awe of what I just saw.

Just because your upset that the team you wanted to win, lost doesn't mean what you're claiming has any truth to it.

There are a lot of Patriot fans here. You haven't been here long enough or haven't bothered to do a search. If you took the time you would see just how many fans there are and have been on this site. This board is 17 years old. The Patriots have won before, look it up for yourself.

I don't even watch sports, but I support my friends!

Yeah you don't watch sports and are only posting this for your friend so you don't know!!!

But I won't say anymore !! God forbid around here with Janice if you didn't vote for Trump and aren't a New England Patriots fan!!!

Congratulations Janice and other Patriots fans on Super Bowl #5! Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are simply the greatest QB and coach combination in NFL history. They always surround them with winners. Even when the game was 28-3, I didn't feel like the lead was safe. They were able to make the adjustments and plays in the second half.

Boston is truly the city of sports champions. It's easy for opposing fans to hate Brady, but he's a winner. Everybody would want him on their team. He's just a class act.

Jenny, I corrected your thread title. They are the New England Patriots. They used to be the Boston Patriots until 1971. Janice was just a young girl back then, but I'm sure she remembers them well.

Let's keep this a congratulations thread. If you want to vent, go to the other thread.

No one understood why I was not comfortable with a 28-9 lead. I kept saying I need 44-9 lol

I actually have to put him as number 1 above montana now because no one has ever led a team to a win after being down 25 in a SB

Exclamation ONE warning

Bonnie, knock it off. I don't care who voted for Trump or who likes the Patriots. What I DO care about is you ruining a congratulations thread, even after the OWNER tells you to stop.

Don't think for a minute that because you're a regular poster that I won't suspend you because, believe me, I will. The next insult, wisecrack, you're getting a suspension. You have destroyed this thread because you're a sore loser. You also trolled the other thread on this forum. You've insulted Jenny and Sonny and even disrespected TJ. You wouldn't even get a warning at other websites.

Yes Congrats to the Patriots, that was quite a comeback, the likes of which hadn't been seen before. With a 28-3 lead, Atlanta should have been able to win the game, all they would have needed in the 4th quarter to stop the Patriots momentum was one big defensive play, either fumble recovery or interception, but they couldn't do it. The Falcons are inexperienced and still have to learn how to close out big games, especially against an experienced team like New England. I imagine the Falcons will learn from this experience and if the cards fall right for them, maybe they will be back in the Super Bowl next year and win it next time.

I was actually hoping for a Green Bay/New England Super Bowl this year, I wanted to see Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady slug it out, but the Packers lost to the Falcons in the NFC championship game.

I wonder what Tom Brady is going to do now, will he play for a few more years, or will he retire? If he wanted to retire, now might be the time to do it after a comeback win like that in the Super Bowl, it would be the ideal scenario for him to retire and cement his legacy in the NFL, similar to when Peyton Manning retired last year after winning the Super Bowl.

I'm really happy the New England Patriots won because they really shined and proved it. I think 2017 will become a big year for sports and the New England Patriots win in the Super Bowl shows it
