Annie Oakley

I was watching my classic commercials DVD and I found a Carnation commercial that advertised a classic western named Annie Oakley and I would like to know if you remember the western Annie Oakley? I don't know when it was made but it was a great western show that was in black and white

I got some in an inexpensive set of DVDs, a few episodes with Gail Davis as "Annie Oakley" and Jimmy Hawkins as her younger brother, "Tad," IIRC. She wore her hair in bilateral pig tails which was pathetic -to- yuk. IIRC, that was early in the 1950s, when television was growing into living rooms.

That classic western became worse after I watched the 1950 musical, Annie Get Your Gun, which was much truer to the authentic Annie Oakley. The series was placed in the desert southwest, where I do not believe Annie ever went west of the Mississippi River.
