Are Billy Joel albums rare to find and very collectible today? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Today my aunt sent my mom and me two boxes full of great music and in one of the boxes my aunt gave my mom a copy of Billy Joel's Greatest Hits and what surprised me is that it's a two disc set and I seem to think that this is the original Billy Joel Greatest Hits album that was released before being put in a single disc version. The cover of the album features a nice picture of Billy Joel in black and white. Is this album rare of all the Billy Joel albums to find because Colombia Records released new remastered versions of Billy Joel's albums now?

As far as I know none of Billy Joel's albums released in the U.S. are considered rare & collectible.

That Billy Joel album to be even fairly rare & collectable it would need :
1. AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED
2.STILL FACTORY SEALED
3. Hype Sticker
4. Japan Import

You might be able to sell it for $95 even if does not fall under one of the four categories if the sleeve is at least Very Good condition and the records are both at least Near Mint,since this is a popular artist and popular album,but this is top dollar ,$60 would be a more conservative top dollar price.

Thanks, but if you're going to post this type of info then please link your sources. Have to admit that I'm very surprised at what the album is selling for on eBay. I may have to list mine ASAP.

!!! Wow!! so this means my aunt got a very collectible Billy Joel album for my mom. My mom has only one other Billy Joel album and she got it because she liked his remake of the song Hey Girl so my aunt found a great deal on this album
