In the 90's a cartoon named Hammerman debuted on ABC Saturday Mornings and featured the rap star MC Hammer whose character Stanley discovered a magic pair of dance shoes and when he put them on he became Hammerman and have lots of fun adventures. It was such a wonderful idea that cartoons featuring celebrities became a cool fad and Hammerman was truly fun to watch

Yuck. Awful cartoon. The Kid N Play animated series is much better.

I do...and I'm one of the few who liked it! But I was also a big M.C. Hammer fan at that time!
