I always enjoyed the music played during the credits but from the versions I saw they always had annoying voice overs, thankfully they have been saved and are now in full. Just another great thing to have !

I also really appreciate having the credits music without the TV voice-overs.
However, I've watched about half of the first season, and it seems they just used the black marble screen instead of the original way, which had landscape type video clips from that episode's segments. But now that I type that, I realize that that's part of the problem... It wouldn't allow for the "Frankenstein-ing" of episodes because the credit scenes wouldn't always match the segments we're presented. I don't want to make it seem like I am seriously complaining, just an slightly disappointing observation. Its so great that we have the streaming episodes now. |

It's funny. As a little kid, I kind of appreciated the happy NBC voice announcer over the ending credits because the music scared me...and hearing about what was going to be shown on the Cosby Show or Alf next week kind of calmed my nerves. As I recall, in those days, they showed clips from just one segment, shown that night, for the credits. Sometimes it was a murder one, sometimes a UFO, sometimes even a lost love one.
Lifetime switched to the marble board for the credits but at least they cut off any speakers. And that was nice as an adult when you crave that scary music as opposed to wanting to hide from it as a kid. |
