Default Will Disney have plans to make a channel that has the classic Disney cartoons?

I have often wondered if Disney will someday make a channel that features the classic Disney cartoons like The Wuzzles The Adventures Of The Gummi Bears the original Ducktales Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers to Disney cartoons from the 90's like Goof Troop and Talespin and many more and then Disney's new cartoon channel would have hours like Disney's Princess Hour where they would show The Little Mermaid series Princess Jasmine themed episodes of the Aladdin TV series and Elena Of Avalor would be featured as well. Since Toon Disney renamed itself Disney XD Disney could add a classic Disney cartoon channel to the Disney Channel family and I think it would work very well for cartoon fans everywhere

Oh No

I do too wish that would happen...But at one point, Turner Classic Movies played Disney films and shorts.

I think Disney feels that they can get more money by syndicating shows than having its own station. But I do wish there is a Vault Disney Channel...There is an audience for it!

I agree with you Bestie! It should be called "Classic Disney Channel". It should have old cartoons, old Mickey Mouse Club and the "Wonderful World of Disney" films. It would be the most popular channel in the Disney cable channels. But, since most of the stuff would not be "politically correct" don't hold your breath.

It would be nice but probably wont ever happen. They dont see profit being made in their vintage programming aside from their films. Thats why they wont release any of the classic Marvel cartoons. We were lucky to get xmen, Iron man, and Fantastic four. Thankfully all the other marvel cartoons were teleased in the UK before the merging of Marvel and disney. Same goes for some of their in-house produced series like Gummi bears and why we never got the final seasons of Ducktales and Darkwing Duck- sales of the first few boxsets were not up to their expectations so the remaining episodes were axed from release.

That...and if Disney decides to re-release their older shows, it would be on Netflix, Hulu, Antenna TV, or MeTV since those can give Disney more money than a stand-alone station.
