Danson is good in both roles in my opinion, but I have to give an edge to Cheers because I think he portrays Sam Malone the best

I think Ted Danson is actually stronger in Becker but the supporting cast is a lot better on Cheers.

Never really got into Becker. He portrayed Sam Malone wonderfully.

Sam, but only with Diane. I tried to watch Becker, but couldn't stay with it.

I love him as Sam Malone and was surprised at how I don't see him as Sam when I watch "Becker." He's an entirely different character and because he's such a great actor, I don't even think of "Cheers" when watching "Becker."

I'm a new fan of "Becker" through the DVDs I bought last year. Pretty good show, and to think for a long time I bashed the series. Now I'm wondering why.

Becker

Not only is he excellent in it, but the supporting cast is very strong as well. They all played off each other and complemented each other very well.
