Default Dennis The Menace 1985 Animated Series

In 1985 Dennis The Menace made his animated cartoon debut with his very own cartoon series that was produced by DIC Animation and the cereal company General Mills and was one of the most popular cartoons of the 80's. It also featured the voice of the late Newsradio star Phil Hartman as Mr. Wilson and Brennan Thicke the son of Alan Thicke provided the voice of Dennis The Menace. In fact due to the cartoon's popularity Dennis The Menace was also the huge star of Dairy Queen by starring in commercials for Dairy Queen promoting Dairy Queen's kids meals and ice cream as well
Who remembers the Dennis The Menace animated series?

One of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid.

I believe this program was actually broadcast for the first time in the year 1986 and that Dennis actually had his animated debut years before this program was ever broadcast.

Yeah it premiered in 1986 and ran until 88. There was never an animated version before then, only the 1959 live action series.

I remember reading Dennis the Menace in the newspaper funnies as a kid. I liked that comic. Thanks for reminding us all of how great cartoons USED to be Bestie!! We need more cartoons that are just funny, without a subliminal message.

I love that show! It was so funny when Mr Wilson was setting up at burglar alarm and Dennis was playing baseball and his ball went through the window and the alarm went off. Mr Wilson and Dennis got arrested. Dennis told Mr Wilson as they were coming out of the police station the cop says next time he will get a ticket and Dennis was hoping it was to a ball game.
