A Honeymooners New Year’s Eve:

(The Kramdens & Nortons are setting up the Raccoon Lodge for the New Year’s Eve party.)

Ed: “What a party this will be Ralph-ie boy. We will ring in 2017.”

Ralph: “2016 was a beaut of a year. Now, time to ring in 2017.”

Alice: “Oh, by the way Ralph. Since the lodge said we can bring guests, I asked my parents if they can come.”

Ralph: “Oh!”

(Ralph realizes what that means.)

Ralph (yells): “WHAT?”

Alice: “My mother and Dad don’t have anywhere to go, so I asked them if they can come.”

Ralph: “There’s a BIG deal. You couldn’t ask them to stay at their house and make a party?”

Alice: “Ralph, my mother and father are coming and you are going to be nice to them. Make it a New Year’s Resolution.”

Ed: “Yeah, make it a New Year’s Resolution. I make them. One of mine is to watch more kids shows.”

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: “Your mother and I don’t get along. We are enemies. Natural enemies like a boa constrictor and a mongoose.”

Alice: “YOU will be nice to them.”

Ralph: “All right I will. If she embarrasses me, BANG! ZOOM!”

(Alice’s parents arrive later on. The party is in full-swing.)

(Ralph & Ed are now drunk.)

Ralph (drunkenly): “Norton, let’s sing our song.”

Both (drunkenly singing off-key loudly): “IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, WE HAD A DREAM/IF YOU HAVE ONE TOOOOOOOOOO.”

Ed (drunkenly): “Do wa! Do wa! Do wa!”

Ralph (drunkenly): “Let me get Alice so I can kiiiiiiissssss her when the clock strikes 12a.”

(Ralph & Ed watch the ball drop on TV. Ralph thinks that he has Alice on his arm but it is Alice’s mother.)

Ryan Seacrest (on TV): “Let’s start the countdown.”

All (yell): “10…9…8…7…6…”

Ed (drunkenly yells): “THE CHAMPAGNE IS NOT KORBEL.”

(People laugh.)

All (yell): “2…1…”
